Well, Day Seven was spent at sea, sailing back to Miami, FL. The night before, we agreed to meet our friends Frank and Sandy at 8:45 AM for some Rock Climbing! So, we dragged our exhausted asses out of bed around 8AM, had a nice breakfast, and met them at the wall. Unfortuantely, the 9AM session was for kids only, so we had to wait another hour. In the meantime, I was able to sign us (Frank, Charles, Wendy, Sandy, Linda, and me) up for a slot on their golf simulator at 12:25PM. While waiting for rock climbing, Charles and Linda showed up, no doubt to watch us make fools of ourselves on the wall, and killed some time playing a round of minature golf. Yep, this damn boat has a minature golf course, too! A word to the wise for anyone that should have an opportunity to play minature golf with Charles and Linda - don't play for money! They'll take you! Even with the strong winds on board, they kicked our asses! Well, 9:45 rolled around and Frank, Sandy, Wendy and I all attempted the wall. Having successfully climbed an earier route up the wall earlier in the week, I boldly (and foolishly) decided to try the hardest one. I quickly made it up about 3/4 of the way, but lost my arm strength after repeated attempts to reach for the next hand-hold. So, I'll try again next time. Sandy and Frank went next and both of them made it to the top! Sandy had a great coach that really stuck with her, and she had the patience to see it through, where others (and I watched them) would've have given up. Wendy gave it her best, but her coach was too busy talking to another coach so he didn't offer any advice/tips on the best foot/hand holds - so she only made it up about 1/3 of the way. But - you'll all be glad to know that she is eager to go to one of the indoor rock climbing facilities and conquer the wall. Go Wendy! We spent the rest of the day packing, playing bingo (yes - more damn bingo!), layed around the pool and did some hot-tubbing, had a great last dinner, and headed up to bed. We were scheduled to be one of the first off the boat in the morning, so we needed to have our act together in the morning.   Frank, Sandy, and Us getting ready to climb the wall! Starting up.... 25% up...   50% up... Almost at the top - go Frank!   Sandy & Frank climbing: Sandy about 75% up and Frank at 25%. Sandy at the top and Frank gaining fast!.   Sandy and Frank at the top! Another of Sandy and Frank at the top!   Wendy's turn! Starting up... 25% up...   Defeat! In her defense, her coach sucked! He didin't help her find the right foot/hand holds once. So, we'll try again on another wall.
